What changed in the Girlguiding uniform?
Girlguiding launched its redesigned uniform range in July 2026 after a project involving input from almost 55,000 members. The organisation says flexibility, inclusivity, durability and sustainability were central to the redesign.
More than half of the new collection has now been certified as recyclable by the Circular Textiles Foundation. The certified range spans 15 styles across Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers, young leaders and adult volunteers.
The printing specification is especially relevant to garment decorators. CTF-linked reporting says the collection moved away from polyurethane-based prints and towards water-based prints.
